Each month we will give the texts for 1 of 38 Bible Study Topics that you can chain reference in your Bible. If you would like the previous ones please e-mail newsletter@jolietsda.org and specify which numbers you would like.
Here’s how:
1) On a flyleaf in the front of your Bible, each month write the subject (example: Bible), the abbreviation, example: [Bi] and the first text.
2) Then turn to the first text for that topic, underline it, and write the second text in the margin next to it.
3) Then, look up the second text, underline it and write the third text next to it in the margin.
4) Follow this same pattern until the last text. In the margin next to the last text, write the Bible study abbreviation: Bi-end.
5) Continue with each subject until you have finished chain referencing all 38 subjects.
